Illumination’s Core Values

At Illumination Wealth, we work under a set of core values that drive every decision we make about how we serve our clients. We believe it is important that we share these core values with you, and you will be learning about a core value of ours each month.

Empower Decision Making

The Oxford dictionary defines the word empower as “to make (someone) stronger and more confident, especially in controlling their life and claiming their rights.” At Illumination Wealth, we strive to empower our clients in their financial lives. It is important that they are empowered to make decisions that help them live their best financial life. We empower our clients by providing education, asking the right questions, sharing information, offering a different perspective, and making recommendations so they have the confidence to make good financial and life decisions.

We recently empowered a client to make the decision to move to another state. The client was unhappy in their job and not living in a community surrounded by their family and friends. The only reason for continued employment at this company was due to the sizable salary that allowed her to offset the losses she had in an unintentional rental property. After understanding the total cost of inaction, including non-monetary costs as well as the impact on their financial goals, the client made the decision to sell her rental property, leave her job, move to a place surrounded by family and begin more fulfilling and equally lucrative work. We believe that identifying barriers and having the right information helps empower our clients to make decisions that meet their personal, professional, and financial goals.

A real decision is measured by the fact that you’ve taken a new action. If there’s no action, you haven’t truly decided. – Tony Robbins

Five Star Professional
